Datona Publishing & Distribution accepts unsolicited manuscripts, but cannot guarantee immediate review of, comment on, or dispatch of accepted material.  Based on company goals and objectives, Datona Publishing also retains the right to reject submitted material on basis of inappropriate genre, topic, relevancy, or other impact factor.  Primarily, Datona Publishing & Distribution seeks to promote and sell under-represented work and work by members of under-represented groups. Material submitted should have a general audience target (young or adult). Examples of accepted genres and material include Short Stories, Novellas, Poetry, Myths, Folklore, Drama, Humor, Biography, Autobiography, Fiction, Pre-Historical and Historical Fiction, Non-Fiction (General Interest), Anthropology, History, Nature, World and Local Environment, and the Natural Sciences. Works of historical fiction from Afrothematic, Aborigine, South Pacific, Australasian, Middle Eastern (and Horn region), North African (and Sahel region), sub-Saharan African, former U.S.S.R., Asiatic, Tibetan, Nepalese, Mongolian, Turkish, Armenian, Mediterranean, European (Eastern, Western, Central, and Northern), Caribbean, Amerind (Arawak, Cariban, Puelchean, Onan, Olmec, Toltec, Mixtec, Mayan, Incan, Taino, and other South, Central, and North American Indians); and from other under-represented ethnic or racial sources are quite welcome.  Manuscripts containing Anthropological studies or Historical fiction, non-fiction, or authentic general audience essays on the Picts and Silures of Western Europe and the British Isles are also welcome. Non-accepted genres and content that have markets elsewhere include: Thriller/Mystery, Psycho-Drama, Sci-Fi, Horror, and works containing explicit pornography or other objectionable material. Manuscripts that fit into these categories will not be considered. You should retain a copy of all material submitted, and include your return address when mailing your manuscript material.
