following FAQs to see if your concerns are addressed.
Q. What if I make a mistake when selecting items? A. If the error is on a previous page, return to that page, make any required changes, then "Recalculate" your cart contents. While building your order and prior to checkout, you have options which enable you to add, remove, increase or decrease the number of items and quantities per item, and correct any mistakes before proceeding to payment processing. If you don't catch the mistake until after your order is submitted, simply send an e-mail within 24- to 72-hours of the order date, stating what you think the mistake is, and how you want it corrected. (Item swaps when the wrong item was purchased, changes in item quantities, and address or payment card corrections are typical.)
Q. Why is the amount charged for my order not shown on my
credit card statement for this month?A. Your credit card is charged when your order is processed and shipped, not on the day you place your order. The order amount(s) should appear on your next credit card statement, or for the month in which the shipment is made.
Q. Doyou ship to P.O. boxes? A. Yes, unless -- for U.S. and Canada addresses -- the dimensions and weight of the package exceed limitations of the U.S. postal service. Small packages can easily be delivered to both street and postal box addresses, whereas large boxes may not pass criterion for items deliverable to a postal box. For international box addresses (PMB, BP, or POB), the above information does not apply, and packages will be delivered by the lowest cost mode which accomodates shipment to postal boxes.
Q. Doyou ship gifts to foreign (overseas) addresses? A. Yes. Be sure that the shipping address contains the recipient's name and address (including any province, district, postal zone names or codes, street and mailbox numbers), and destination country. You will be responsible for the international shipping charges (USPS, UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc.), and for any VAT, customs duty or foreign tax imposed by the destination country. For orders shipped to Canada, you also will be responsible for GST/HST related to items shipped.
Q. Why is there a sales tax for for items being sent to an address in the State
of California even though the biling address is located elsewhere?A. Sales for taxable items shipped to an address located within the State of California are taxable. The statewide sales tax base is 7.25%, but additional taxes may apply at count and city levels, resulting in overall rates of 7.75%, 8.25%, 8.50%, 8.75%, and higher. California customers purchasing items for shipment within the state can expect to pay a flat 8.25% sales tax for items purchased from this site. Taxes applicable to items shipped outside the State of California are the buyer's responsibility and are excluded from Datona Publishing & Distribution invoices.
Q. Howlong will it be before I receive my order? A. For North American addresses (U.S., Mexico, and Canada), allow 2-6 weeks for delivery. If the item you ordered is in stock, delivery can usually be made within 1-2 weeks after the order is received and processing of payment (including clearing at the bank of any checks, drafts, or money orders). If the item is not in stock, a typical wait time would be 3-6 weeks. Back-ordered items may take longer for delivery, and you would be notified of the order status and estimated delivery time when the item is received in stock. If, for any reason, an item goes out of print and becomes unavailable after you have ordered it, attempts will be made to locate a different source for the same item during the 2-6 week delivery window. You will be notified should the item be completely non-locatable elsewhere.
For international and overseas delivery, delivery times range from 2 weeks to more than 10 weeks depending on shipping mode used, and on the destination region or country.
